4A working hard
The 4th grade students worked on their topics this week: climate, nature elements, Swiss food, buildings, etc. By looking up information in groups they did not only learn new things about their country, they also learned a lot about working together.
Work begins
Excitement builds in Grade 5 as the project gets underway
With the children in grade 5 having collected some great photos of Swiss life over the Christmas vacation, work on the Shanghai project began in school this week.
The children started by thinking about what they would like to learn from the project and composed a number of questions to ask their peers in Shanghai.
Once the children had decided on their questions they began to practise filming themselves on their Ipads.
The first film
Our first film is on its way to Shanghai! The children are very proud of their work.
Introduction
Today, the children worked hard on the introductory movie. They first wrote their text, then learned it by heart and finally we filmed it. On Thursday we will finish the details and hopefully we will be able to send te film to Shanghai before the weekend.
Collège Champittet is ready for lift off!
The students were introduced to the project before the Christmas break. They were all very enthusiastic when they heard they were going to share films of their live with the students in Shanghai.
